Sunset Veterinary Hospital has been a family owned and operated dog and cat hospital in San Francisco since Dr. Pete Beeman purchased the practice in 1975.  We are a close-knit team of veterinary professionals with over 80 years of veterinary experience, and are completely devoted to the well-being of your companion. Our hospital is located at 3741 Noriega Street in the Outer Sunset between 44th and 45th Avenues. Street parking is available, including directly in front of the hospital.

We offer a full range of services from puppy/kitten wellness visits to geriatric ailments. Our paperless medical records provide accurate and efficient record keeping. We offer in-house laboratory services for faster results, which is particularly critical to our emergencies and hospitalized critical cases. Our hospital also has access to board-certified surgeons, radiologists and internists. We are therefore able to tackle both soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, dental procedures, as well as ultrasounds and endoscopies at our facility.

Our biggest asset is our competent and caring staff. Many of our staff members have worked for us over 10 years. Our multidoctor hospital provides a variety of medical styles and experiences and our affiliation with the Veterinary Information Network brings us cutting edge medical information.  Our clients have grown to be very familiar with our receptionists' help and advice and do not hesitate to entrust the care of their beloved companion to our nursing staff. We are a well established friendly neighborhood clinic looking forward to meeting the needs of third generation clients.
